The Alchemy of Glass
Gianni Poretti reproduces, in his atelier, a possible state of the organism, of the Earth, imagining it with a mind that has transcended the experience of the alchemist who now knows the secrets of fusion, oxidation and reduction and has mastered high temperatures. The mineral, metallic world, illuminated by colours and transparencies, is the result of a process that only fire can produce and that Poretti, craftsman and aesthete, seals forever in a magma of glass.
